Santos Neto acts for Cooxupé in BRL150m CRA issue
Santos Neto Advogados assisted Cooxupé in raising R$150 million through the issue of a Certificate of Agribusiness Receivables (CRA)
Santos Neto Advogados acted for Cooxupé, the largest cooperative of coffee growers in the world, in raising R$150 million through the issuance of a Certificate of Agribusiness Receivables (CRA). This is a very relevant operation and will serve to extend the cooperative’s liabilities, an increasingly strong movement among agribusiness companies.
The idea is to replace normally shorter and more expensive bank debts with a longer and more expensive for a more elongated liability with options available in the market.
Santos Neto Advogados had partner Matheus Zilioti (pictured), who led the operation. Partner Domicio dos Santos Neto, partners Henrique Munia e Erbolato for tax matters and associate Bruna Villas Boas Dias.
