Schmidt Valois assists EDP Grid in the purchase of AES Inova
Schmidt Valois Advogados has advised EDP Grid on the acquisition of a 100 per cent stake in the platform for R$101.7 million
Schmidt, Valois, Miranda, Ferreira & Agel Advogados advised EDP Grid, a subsidiary of EDP Brasil, in the acquisition of 100 per cent stake in the distributed generation platform AES Inova, from AES Brasil, for R$101.7 million.
AES Inova is a platform that gathers investments in distributed solar generation in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo and Minas Gerais, in different stages of development, with approximately 34 MWp.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year and still depends on regulatory approvals, among other conditions precedent.
Partner Isabela Faria (pictured) led the Schimidt Valois team, which also included partners Anna Paula Góes, Eduardo Cirne Lina, Daniela Loureiro, Maria Quelhas, and Leonardo Oliveira.
Pereira Neto Macedo Advogados represented the seller (AES Brasil).
