Schneider, Pugliese strengthened its Tax department with the hiring of Leonardo Maués de Freitas, former lawyer at Souza, Mello e Torres

The law firm specialized in Tax Law Schneider, Pugliese has announced the incorporation of Leonardo Maués de Freitas (pictured), who joins the firm’s Tax Litigation team, coordinated by Partner Eduardo Pugliese and attorney Guilherme Yamahaki, working both in litigation and in the production of legal opinions.

A Law graduate from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), in addition to being a lawyer, Leonardo is a researcher at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), carrying out a study focused on Taxation on a Universal Basis – TBU, co-author of articles specialized in Agribusiness Taxation and a post-graduate student in Tax Law at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
