Serur advises Jovens Gênios on a round of seed funding

Serur Advogados advised Jovens Gênios, which raised 11.8 million reais in a seed funding round to accelerate the expansion of its AI-powered education platform.

The round was led by GovTech Fund, co-managed by KPTL and Cedro Capital, with participation from DOMO.VC, Criabiz Ventures and Rosey Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Grupo Marista.

Founded in 2018 by Bernard Caffé and Fernando Costa, Jovens Gênios develops a platform that combines artificial intelligence and gamification to personalize learning for K–12 students. The solution adapts educational content to each student’s pace while offering pedagogical monitoring tools for teachers and school systems.
The investment is used to accelerate the company’s commercial expansion, strengthen its technological infrastructure and enhance the scalability of the platform. Part of the funds is also allocated to the company’s corporate restructuring.
