Several Brazilian law firms act in the sale of Braskem

Petrobras and Novonor have approved the sale of up to 100% of the preferred shares they hold in Braskem to be held through a secondary public offering of shares.

In this first public offer, up to 154.9 million Series A preferred shares will be sold.

The two partners will maintain control of the petrochemical company at this first moment.

The lead coordinator of the global offering is Bank Morgan Stanley. Also participating in the operation are JPMorgan, Bradesco BBI, BTG Pactual, Citi, Itaú BBA, Santander and UBS BB.

Headquartered in São Paulo, Braskem is a petrochemical company with global operations.
