Several firms act on the acquisition of Mineração Taboca to CNMC

Several firms act on the acquisition of 100% of the equity interest of Mineração Taboca, held by Minera Latinoamericana, a company owned by Minsur, to China Nonferrous Mining Metal Company (CNMC).

Mineração Taboca, the largest producer of refined tin in Brazil, which operates the Pitinga mine in the city of Presidente Figueiredo/AM and a metallurgy unit in Pirapora do Bom Jesus/SP.

CNMC is a Chinese company engaged in the development of non-ferrous mineral resources and construction projects in China and abroad.

The closing of the transaction is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent and, if completed, could reach an amount of US$ 340 million (approximately BRL 2 billion).
