Several firms advised on Marfrig‘s merger with BRF, creating a company with synergy potential of over BRL 805 million per year. The operation results in the creation of a new company – MBRF.
Linklaters, TozziniFreire and Lefosse advised Marfrig, as buyer. Simpson Thatcher and Eizirik advised BRF, as seller. Davis Polk advised Citibank together with Cescon on the issuance of a fairness opinion on the merger.
