Several firms on FS Luxembourg’s international issuance
Mattos Filho and Milbank advised the issuer, Machado Meyer and Simpson Thacher acted as legal advisor to the coordinators of the offer in the issue of senior notes, carried out by FS Luxembourg S.à r.l. with placement efforts abroad, under Rule 144A and/or Regulation S of the United States. The issue amounted to US$ 500 million.
The issue was backed by corporate guarantees provided by the Brazilian companies FS Indústria de Biocombustíveis and FS I Indústria de Etanol.
Mattos Filho advised FS Agrisolutions Indústria de Biocombustíveis, FS I Indústria de Etanol and Morgan Stanley & Co. and relied on partner Raphael Saraiva (pictured left) and lawyer Isabela Gonçalves Correia Neves.
Milbank advised the same party.
