Several firms on the acquisition of Dori by Ferrara Candy Company

Mattos Filho advised Ferrara Candy Company, a company associated with the Ferrero Group and the largest candy and gum company in the United States, which announced an agreement to acquire Dori Alimentos, one of Brazil’s leading manufacturers and distributors of sweets and snacks.

The acquisition will be made through CTH, which is Ferrara’s main parent company. Dori is a family business and an investee of ACON Investments.

In acquiring the company, Ferrara has expanded its international presence and enters the fast-growing Brazilian market. The transaction value was not disclosed.
