Shearman & Sterling advises Mexico’s Volaris on $175m share offering
Shearman & Sterling advised Volaris, Mexico’s ultra-low-cost airline, on a $175 million follow-on offering of American depository shares.
It is understood to be the only SEC-registered equity offering by a Latin American issuer so far in 2015.
Partner Antonia Stolper led the Shearman & Sterling team advising Volaris.
Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Evercore Group and UBS Securities – who acted as underwriters of the offering – instructed Paul Hastings, whose team was led by Mike Fitzgerald and Arturo Carrillo.
