Sidley grows M&A team with new partner

Sidley Austin has announced the addition of Juan Delgado (pictured) as a new partner and Axel Miranda as an associate in the M&A and Private Equity practice in the Miami office, both joining from Morrison & Foerster LLP.

Juan Delgado focuses much of his practice on Latin America and cross-border transactions, in addition to advising domestic and international corporate clients on M&A matters, securities offerings and financing transactions. He also regularly represents private equity sponsors in venture and growth capital investments.

Commenting on Juan’s appointment, Yvette Ostolaza, Chair of Sidley’s Management Committee, said: “His fluency in Spanish, along with his experience with cross-border deals will be a great addition to our growing team in South Florida. Juan and Axel have worked together successfully on major matters, which will help facilitate a seamless transition of Juan’s practice to our platform.”
