Silveiro Advogados announces a new coordinating partner

Silveiro Advogados announced the arrival of João Crepaldi (pictured) as the new coordinating partner for the M&A and Private Equity practice in São Paulo, strengthening its presence in the complex corporate transactions market and consolidating the firm’s national expansion, which has offices in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, and Brasília.

With a background in domestic and cross-border transactions, Crepaldi has accumulated experience in corporate reorganizations, complex contracts, corporate governance, and initial public offerings (IPOs) — when a company goes public and begins trading shares on the stock exchange. A graduate of PUC-SP, he holds an LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in the United States and a postgraduate degree in Business Economics from FGV.

Before joining Silveiro Advogados, he worked at Pinheiro Neto Advogados in São Paulo and at the American firm Latham & Watkins in Chicago, which gives him an integrated view of the regulatory and financial environments in both Brazil and abroad.
