Simpson Thacher acts in Notes and term loan offering of TelevisaUnivision

Simpson Thacher acted as representative of the initial purchasers, led by Goldman Sachs, in connection with an offering of 8.500% Senior Secured Notes due 2031 under Rule 144A/Regulation S by Univision Communications Inc. (UCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of TelevisaUnivision, Inc. for $500.0 million.

The firm also represented Goldman Sachs as lead arranger and administrative agent in connection with UCI’s $500.0 million refinancing of its senior secured term loan “b” due 2026.

UCI used the net proceeds from the offering, together with proceeds from the new senior secured term loan “b” facilities and cash on hand, to prepay $1.0 billion of the outstanding amount of its Term Loan B 2026 Facility, including costs, fees and expenses incurred in connection therewith.

TelevisaUnivision is a global media company that entertains, informs and empowers Hispanics with news, sports and entertainment content across broadcast and cable television, audio and digital platforms.
