Simpson Thacher instructed on equity offering by Brazilian software company
Simpson Thacher advised BTG Pactual, Morgan Stanley, Itaú BBA S.A. and Credit Suisse (Brasil), as underwriters in the follow-on equity offering of 24 million common shares by Linx S.A.
The offering raised R$444 million (approximately $137 million) and shares were offered to certain institutional investors in Brazil, qualified institutional buyers in the United States under Rule 144A and to non-U.S. persons outside the United States in reliance on Regulation S.
Linx is headquartered in Sao Paulo and provides ERP and POS management software solutions for the retail market in Brazil and internationally.
Partners Grenfel Calheiros and Todd Crider led the team at Simpson Thacher advising the underwriters.
