SiqueiraCastro promotes new partners in different areas

SiqueiraCastro has announced the promotion of three new partners: Bruno Amar Botelho, Fabricio Oliveira de Araújo and Vinícius Cervantes Gorgone Arruda (pictured from left to right), with the aim of strengthening its practice in strategic areas such as Strategic Litigation and Arbitration, Labor Relations and Intellectual Property.

Strategic Litigation and Arbitration: in Rio de Janeiro, Bruno Amar Botelho, a lawyer with the firm for 11 years, joins the Strategic Litigation and Arbitration area, adding his experience to that of the other 7 partners in the area. A graduate of Fluminense Federal University, Botelho has postgraduate degrees in Civil Procedure (ESA), Consumer Law and Consumer Relations (PUC-RIO) and Real Estate Law (NUFEI-ABADI – Candido Mendes).

In addition to his legal practice, Botelho has taught at the Escola Superior de Advocacia and at ABADI’s Center for Real Estate Training and Excellence, as well as authoring legal articles in the real estate area.

Labor Law: still in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Oliveira de Araújo joins the team of partners in the Labor Sector. A graduate of Cândido Mendes University, Araújo has postgraduate degrees in Labor Law and Labor Procedure. With 18 years of experience in the area, his work is recognized for its solid performance and dedication to Labor Law.

Intellectual Property: In São Paulo, Vinícius Cervantes Gorgone Arruda is the new partner in the Intellectual Property Sector. He holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in Political and Economic Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, a postgraduate degree in Diffuse and Collective Rights from PUC/SP and an MBA in Electronic Law from Escola Paulista de Direito.

Arruda was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 1st Ericsson Award for Academic Production in Intellectual Property (2023) and listed in the Trade Mark Expert Guide (2018). He served as Editorial Director of the São Paulo Intellectual Property Association (2019-2022 and 2023-present) and is the author of books and articles on Intellectual Property, Digital Law and Innovation.
