Skadden counsels Castlelake on refinancing of Abra Group
Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has counselled Castlelake as lead investor and lender in the USD $740 million secured term loan to Abra Group Limited and its subsidiaries, parent company of Brazilian airline Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes and Colombian airline Avianca Group International Limited.
The proceeds of the term loan – together with proceeds from a separate note issue – were used to refinance Abra’s USD $1.15 billion senior secured notes due 2028.
