Skadden on Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami

Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom is advising Lionel Messi in connection with the announcement that Inter Miami has signed seven-time Ballon d’Or winner and World Champion Lionel Messi.

The Argentine star, who will occupy a Designated Player position, is expected to join the team in the coming days, with his contract extending through the 2025 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.

Skadden’s team includes Business Law partners Alejandro Gonzalez Lazzeri (pictured left), Thaddeus Hartmann (pictured centre, left) and Andrea Spadacini (pictured centre, right), Intellectual Property and Technology partner Oren Epstein (pictured right), and Employee and Compensation partner Joseph Penko. All lawyers are based in New York, except for Andrea Spadacini, who is based in London.
