Skadden represents Gondi in $970m stake sale to WestRock

Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has represented Grupo Gondi in connection with the transaction whereby they sold a remaining stake to WestRock for $970 million plus the assumption of debt.

Through this transaction, WestRock completed its acquisition of Grupo Gondi, which included four paper mills, nine corrugated packaging plants and six high graphics plants throughout Mexico that produce sustainable packaging for a wide range of end markets in the region.
