Souto Correa Advogados elects Guilherme Rizzo Amaral, one of its founding partners, as new CEO
Guilherme Rizzo Amaral (pictured), one of Souto Correa’s founding partners, has been elected for a three-year mandate starting on 1st January, 2022. He succeeds Carlos Souto, who has occupied the position since the firm’s foundation in 2013.
Souto Correa’s driving force is its focus on its people and on talent-building. In addition, the firm sees the transformations brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic to the legal practice as a rare opportunity.
In 2018, the firm stepped up its commitment to diversity and inclusion by creating a Diversity Committee, which intensified actions such as internal research, training, and recruiting, as well as the creation of a group of diversity ambassadors composed of over 40 coworkers. And yet one of the new managing partner’s priorities is to deepen the promotion of diversity and inclusion.
