Souto Correa announces former legal superintendent of Corsan as new partner

Souto Correa Advogados announced Eden Ferreira, experienced professional in projects in the Sanitation sector, to reinforce the team of lawyers in the area

Souto Correa Advogados has strengthened its performance in the area of Sanitation with the arrival of new partner Eden José Ferreira Zarth Soares (pictured).

Eden brings 12 years of experience working at Corsan, a period in which, among others, he held the position of legal superintendent of the company and managed relevant projects for the company.

From 2018 to 2020, he coordinated the multidisciplinary team of the Legal Superintendence. Also during this time, he was part of the working group ahead of the modeling of the PPP in sanitary sewage: from conception, through bidding to contract signing; with emphasis on the organization of the legal part of the project. After that, he took over the management of the Business Unit and Strategic Partnerships.

At the time of Legal Superintendence, Ferreira also coordinated the implementation of technology for the fine-tuning of the accounting provisioning of lawsuits, electronic document management, and workflow organization.

He graduated from the State University of Ponta Grossa, in Paraná, has a post-graduate degree in Tax Law, an LL.M. in Business Law, and is currently taking a Master’s degree in this area at the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos).
