Souto Correa Advogados informed that Mariana Vicente Níquel has joined the Environmental and Sustainability area

Souto Correa Advogados has reinforced its Environmental and Sustainability team with the arrival of Mariana Vicente Níquel (pictured), a new partner.

Mariana has 10 years of experience in the area, expertise in environmental audits for M&As and IPOs, issuance of green bonds, debentures and capital markets in general, real estate acquisitions, also working in environmental litigation and processes involving licensing, waste management, management of contaminated areas, among other issues.

The lawyer is also active in contractual allocation of environmental responsibilities and negotiation with stakeholders.

The new partner holds a degree in Law from PUCRS, specializes in Environmental Law from UFRGS and Environmental Management from PUCRS, and is also a member of União Brasileira da Advocacia Ambiental (UBAA).
