Souza Mello e Torres Advogados announced the promotion of Diogo Nebias and Roberto Panucci to partner and Julia Camargo to the position of consulting partner

Souza Mello e Torres Advogados announced the promotion of Diogo Nebias (pictured left) and Roberto Panucci (pictured center) to partner and Julia Camargo (pictured right) to the position of consulting partner.

Diogo Nebias graduated in law from the University of São Paulo (USP) and earned his LL.M degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His promotion to partner strengthens the firm’s infrastructure and project finance practice.

Roberto Panucci graduated in law and earned a master’s degree in civil law from the University of São Paulo (USP). He also earned a master’s degree (LL.M) at Columbia Law School, New York, and now becomes a partner in the areas of insurance, reinsurance and private pension and startups and innovation.

Julia Camargo graduated in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and earned a master’s degree in civil procedural law from that institution. She has post graduate degrees in arbitration from the Getúlio Vargas law school, in civil procedural law from COGEAE/PUC-SP specialization institute and in contracts law at CEU. Julia was assistant professor in the master’s and graduation courses at PUC-SP (civil law, civil procedure, arbitration and mediation), and she now takes up the position of consulting partner in the firm’s arbitration, litigation and judicial reorganization practices.

The admission of these new partners is in recognition of their work as associates and serves to fortify the firm’s presence in the respective areas of practice.
