Stocche Forbes advise Banco Santander in a cross-border finacing
Stocche Forbes advised Banco Santander (Spain), exclusively in regards to aspects related to brazilian law, in the constitution of a fiduciary assignment governed by brazilian law given in guarantee of a cross-border finacing in the maximum amount of up to USD 18,080,000.00.
The relevant financing was directed to the acquisition of a Bulk Carrier Vessel by Iberian Bulkcarries 2 Limited, a maltese company, and to be operated by Empresa de Navegação Elcano in Brazil. The acquisition was guaranteed by Elcano by means of such fiduciary assignment of credit rights and insurance policies governed by the laws of Brazil.
