Stocche Forbes advises on Athena Healthcare notes
Stocche Forbes Advogados structured and negotiated the private placement of the first issuance of book-entry commercial notes by Athena Healthcare Holding, in a single series, for a total amount of BRL 35 million.
The notes carry an additional surety guarantee in the form of aval, with Banco ABC Brasil acting as the sole lender in the transaction.
The guarantee structure also involved four companies linked to the Athena group: Humana Saúde, Athena Saúde do Brasil, SAMP Espírito Santo Assistência Médica and Humana Saúde Nordeste. The operation falls within the health sector and was not confidential in terms of the disclosed amount.
Stocche Forbes Advogados represented both the borrower, Athena Healthcare Holding, and the lender, Banco ABC Brasil, acting as deal counsel throughout the transaction. The team was led by partners Victor Manso Roman and Paulo Henrique Signori Pinese, supported by associates Gabriel Principe, Pedro Muanis, Júlia Guerra Amaral and João Pedro Miranda Mendes.
