Stocche Forbes Advogados advised Votorantim in a corporate reorganization to consolidate its renewable energy development and generation business in order to create a leading renewable energy platform in Brazil.

The objective of this transaction was to create a company (Nova VTRM) that will be one of the leading publicly traded companies in the Brazilian electricity sector.

The completion of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions precedent, including antitrust approvals.

The firm’s team included partners André Stocche (pictured left), Alessandra Zequi (pictured centre) and Ricardo Freoa (pictured right), and associates Carolina Vilela Marcondes Machado and Bruna Belloto.
