TAGD and MMA join forces in strategic partnership

Terciotti Andrade Gomes Donato Advogados (TAGD) and Miguez de Melo Advogados (MMA) have announced the signing of a strategic partnership.

The objective of associating the two firms is to expand TAGD’s practice in the high courts and in the insurance area, as well as to strengthen MMA’s team in the Tax area and in the other corporate law activities offered by TAGD.

Founded by lawyer Gustavo Miguez de Mello (pictured left) in 1991, MMA is recognised in the Brazilian legal market in the areas of Tax and Insurance litigation, acting in the Superior Courts, especially in the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and in the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), having won several direct actions of unconstitutionality.

For its part, TAGD was founded in 2014 by a team of professionals (pictured right) with extensive experience in the tax area, having since then registered strong growth and expanded its areas of practice to include corporate, energy and dispute resolution practices, and is now a consolidated firm in the Brazilian market with a comprehensive practice covering the main areas of business law.
