Tanoira Cassagne strengthens energy practice with new partner hire
Tanoira Cassagne (TCA) has announced the addition of Tomás Trusso (pictured) as a new partner, who will lead the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources practice group. The move aligns with the firm’s broader expansion strategy and responds to increasing client demand in one of Argentina’s most dynamic sectors.
Trusso brings extensive experience advising on complex corporate transactions in the energy and natural resources sectors, both domestically and internationally. He began his legal career at Baker McKenzie Buenos Aires, where he spent nearly seven years in the Corporate and M&A team, with a focus on the mining, oil, and gas industries.
Following his time at Baker McKenzie, Trusso earned an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from Queen Mary University of London, where he further specialized in energy transition and sustainability. He later joined the Energy, Mining & Infrastructure team in London before returning to the Buenos Aires office, reinforcing his cross-border credentials.
TCA’s executive committee emphasized that they are seeing increasing client demand in the Energy and Natural Resources sector and are committed to strengthening their legal offering in response.
