Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Concessionária Rota do Atlântico S.A., on its first issuance of debentures
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Concessionária Rota do Atlântico S.A., a Monte Rodovias Group’s concessionaire, on its first issuance of debentures, in the total amount of BRL 160 millions.
The XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A. acted as lead underwriter and made the public offering with restricted placement efforts, under the terms of CVM Ruling No. 476 and incentivized under the terms of article 2 of Law 12,431, of June 24, 2011, as amended.
The proceeds will be allocated in the implementation and operation of new road accesses and previous existing rehabilitation, modernization and implementation of the signaling system, installation of public lighting, implementation of electronic management systems and toll collection, among other maintenance and operation works of the concession; reimbursement of investments previously made in the concession and also the reimbursement and prepayment of financing granted by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), under the terms of Ordinance No. 1,290, issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure, which approved the classification of the project as a priority project.
