Tauil & Chequer Advogados advises Banco Itaú in CTEEP debentures issue
Tauil & Chequer Advogados advised Banco Itaú lead coordinator in the 10th issue of CTEEP debentures
The Capital Markets practice of Tauil & Chequer Advogados associated with Mayer Brown advised Banco Itaú BBA S.A., as Lead Coordinator, in the 10th issue of debentures of CTEEP – Companhia De Transmission De Energia Elétrica Paulista -, in the amount of R$ 672,500,000.00.
The Issue was structured in two series, one of institutional debentures (CDI) and the other of infrastructure debentures (in accordance with article 2 of Law 12,431/11).
The debentures were certified as green bonds and the funds raised will be used to implement three new electric energy transmission projects under new concessions awarded in December 2019, called Minuano Project, Triângulo Mineiro Project and Três Lagoas Project.
