Tauil & Chequer and Stocche Forbes act on the formation of a JV
Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Telefônica Brasil on the formation of a joint venture with Auren Energia, which aims to provide customized renewable energy solutions in Brazil and was advised by Stocche Forbes Advogados.
With all the precedent issues approved, the joint venture, which combines Auren’s expertise in energy generation and commercialization with Telefônica’s large-scale distribution capacity, should position itself in the free energy market, with the start of its activities scheduled for September 2024, which will initially be focused on services for the business sector with a demand of less than 500kW.
