Tauil & Chequer counsels banks on issuing NPs and debentures
Tauil & Chequer Advogados Associate to Mayer Brown advised Banco BTG Pactual and Banco Itaú BBA S.A. in NPs and debentures issue for Ventos de São Vitor wind project
Tauil & Chequer Advogados Associated Law Firm Mayer Brown advised BANCO BTG PACTUAL S.A. in the issuance of promissory notes (NPs) by Infraestrutura Brasil Holding IV S.A. (an invested company of Pátria), in the total amount of R$200,000,000.00; and BANCO ITAÚ BBA S.A. in the issue of debentures, also by Infraestrutura Brasil Holding IV S.A., in the total amount of R$220,000,000.00.
Both operations aim at financing the development by certain subsidiaries of the wind farms named Ventos de São Vitor, in the State of Bahia, with an installed generation capacity of approximately 465 MW.
In the NPs issue, the partners Eduardo Lima (pictured left) and Luis Montes (pictured right), and the associate Anna Gouvea participated.
The same team and associate Giovanna Bakaj were involved in the debenture operation.
