Tauil & Chequer hires counsel for litigation and arbitration area
Tauil & Chequer Advogados (T&C) in association with Mayer Brown announces the hiring of Juliana Barbosa Pechincha (pictured) as counsel to join the litigation and arbitration team in São Paulo.
Juliana Barbosa regularly works on complex matters involving foreign laws in various sectors, such as agriculture, automotive, telecommunications, energy, construction, consumer goods, Life Science and finance, being licensed to practice law in Brazil and New York. Juliana has extensive experience in international arbitration and litigation procedures.
Ms. Barbosa is graduated in Law from the Federal University of Espírito Santo and has a Master’s in Civil Procedural Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, as well as an LL.M from Columbia Law School, where she served as a Pro Bono Fellow in Social Justice initiatives. Juliana started her career in São Paulo and for the last eight years has worked in New York, at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and Hogan Lovells LLP.
