TCA appoints two new partners

Tanoira Cassagne Abogados has named Rocío Carrica and Alejandro Mora as partners in the Fintech and Tax areas, respectively

 Tanoira Cassagne Abogados has appointed Rocío Carrica to its Fintech practice and Alejandro Mora to its Tax practice.

Alexia Rosenthal, chair of TCA’s Executive Committee, commented that these new additions will allow the firm to strengthen its growing practice in the Fintech industry, which in turn complements the areas of Financial and Banking Law, as well as New Business and Intellectual Property. Regarding the Tax area, partner Santiago Monti commented that the Firm strengthens a key area to provide a comprehensive legal service to its clients in all industries.

Manuel Tanoira, partner of the firm, said that “the firm considers strategic the growth of both areas to provide comprehensive advice to its clients in the framework of the innovation of their businesses, meeting the new challenges in their day-to-day operations.”

Rocío Carrica (pictured left) is a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires. Her practice focuses on Banking and Finance Law and legal advice to the Fintech industry, especially in the structuring of new Fintech projects and regulatory matters related to the Central Bank of Argentina and the National Securities Commission, debt and equity issuances in the capital markets, as well as private financings made locally and internationally. Previously, she acted as in-house lawyer for Fintech companies with regional presence, in financial institutions and has lectured at prestigious universities on Fintech topics in Argentina.

Alejandro Mora (pictured right) is a lawyer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and a specialist in Tax Law from the same University. Throughout his career he has acquired vast experience in different areas of Tax Law, both in tax advice and tax planning, as well as in tax litigation at national, provincial and local level. He teaches Public Finance and Tax Law at the University of Buenos Aires and Tax Law at the Argentine Catholic University, and is a professor of Administrative and Procedural Tax Law at the Master’s Degree in Tax and Financial Law at the University of Buenos Aires.
