Thompson & Knight adds former Mexico managing partner of Haynes and Boone
Thompson & Knight announced that Luis Moreno Treviño has joined the firm as a partner.
Moreno received his law degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1991 and an LL.M., magna cum laude, from the University of Houston in 1993. He is licensed in Mexico and New York and has worked in the implementation of Mexico’s energy reform. Additionally, his expertise includes real estate and finance.
Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, he was the managing partner of Haynes and Boone in Mexico City. Associate Roxana Burciaga also made the jump to Thompson & Knight. She focuses her practice on oil and gas transactional, real estate, and corporate governance.
