Three firms advise on NSE agreement with Vultur Oil

VPBG, Dentons, and Mattos Filho advised on the execution of the Farm Out Agreement between Vultur Oil and New Stratus Energy (NSE), whereby NSE will acquire a percentage of Vultur’s interest in concession agreements No. 48610. 010812/2015-04 and No. 48610.005425/2013-86, related to onshore blocks REC-T-107 and REC-T-108, located in the Recôncavo Basin, with the objective of continuing the development of both blocks.

The acquisition will take place in two phases: NSE will initially acquire a 15% stake in the blocks and, subject to additional investments, may acquire an additional 17.5% stake.

Vella Pugliese Buosi e Guidoni Advogados advised NSE – New Stratus Energy (NSE) and relied on partner Pedro Seraphim (pictured left), of counsel Jean Pontes, senior associate Rachel Loschiavo, and associate Laura Rosa.

Dentons (Colombia) advised the same party and relied on partner Jorge Neher (pictured center) and associate Felipe Trespalacios.

Mattos Filho advised Vultur Oil in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of the agreement. The team was composed of partner Giovani Loss (pictured right) and associates Maria Eduarda de Skowronski Gomes and Bernardo Tagliabue, all from the Rio de Janeiro office.
