Three firms advise on the acquisition of Grupo Salta by GIC
Machado Meyer advised GIC on the acquisition of an additional interest in Grupo Salta Educação from Warburg Pincus, totaling BRL 1.17 billion.
The deal involved the purchase of common and preferred shares and the negotiation of a new shareholders’ agreement alongside other investor groups, including Opportunity and Gera. This cross-border transaction marked Warburg Pincus’s exit and strengthened GIC’s position in the education sector.
