Three firms advise on Vivae and Ada’s merger
Benetti & Giammarino Advogados advised some angel-investors (including QMS Capital and Iguatemi) from edtech Ada Tech, an education startup focused on employability and focused on companies (B2B), on the sale of their minority stake in Ada to Vivae, an education joint venture between Vivo and Ânima focused on the final user (B2C). Within this transaction, Vivae merges its business with edtech Ada.
The operation maintains both brands: for the B2B segment, Ada remains the main frontrunner, already recognized in the corporate market, with over 400,000 active users and nearly 800,000 professional profiles mapped on an artificial intelligence-based platform that connects talent and companies, and for the B2C segment, Vivae remains offering proprietary courses for professional development in soft and hard skills. With the combined business, the expectation is to expand the use of Ada’s artificial intelligence tools on the platform, connecting professionals even more closely with opportunities at partner companies.
The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals.
