Toledo Marchetti Advogados announces new equity partner
Toledo Marchetti Advogados has announced Carlos Eduardo Leal de Carvalho (pictured) as the firm’s new equity partner.
With more than 20 years’ experience in insurance law, Carlos Eduardo works throughout the entire cycle of contracting, managing and activating large risk insurance for infrastructure projects, including strategic litigation.
For the lawyer, the integrated approach with other areas is an important differentiator in the firm’s insurance practice. It is a decisive approach to maximizing protection in the event of a claim – either to avoid litigation or to increase the chances of success in a possible lawsuit against insurers.
The new partner has a master’s degree in Civil Law from PUC-SP and a postgraduate degree in General Theory of Obligations from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – Rio de Janeiro (FGV-RJ). In addition to coordinating the Insurance Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Construction Law (IBDiC) since 2023, he is a member of the Brazilian Institute of Insurance Law (IBDS) and the International Association of Insurance Law (AIDA).
