TozziniFreire act as deal counsel in the CRI issuance of Canal
TozziniFreire Advogados have acted as deal counsel in the public offering of Real Estate Receivables Certificates (Certificados de Recebíveis Imobiliários, or CRI) of the two series of the 49th issuance of Canal, in the total amount of BRL 40 million.
The offering counts on guarantees constituted by means of fiduciary transfer of 4 (four) real estate and fiduciary assignment of receivables arising from various individual donors through a structure of an escrow account, having the creditor as the sole beneficiary.
The offering was structured by REAG, an independent financial group with the main purpose of developing customized investment solutions in the Brazilian market.
LBV, the debtor, is a non-profit association with a preponderant role in social assistance, which also offers basic education, in addition to carrying out humanitarian, cultural and social communication and educational actions. LBV operates all over the country, in benefit of people and families in situations of social vulnerability, providing social assistance.
