TozziniFreire advise RBS and Banrisul on RBS’s issue
TozziniFreire Advogados advised RBS Participações (RBS) and Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (Banrisul) on RBS’s seventh private issuance of non-convertible debentures, in an amount of BRL 100 million.
The proceeds will be used towards cash reinforcement, including the use in the RBS’s ordinary management business, the realization of investments, the acquisition of fixed assets and the investment in intangible assets by the RBS, as well as the financing of the working capital of RBS, its parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates.
Grupo RBS is a Brazilian media conglomerate founded on August 31, 1957 by Maurício Sirotsky Sobrinho. It produces journalistic, entertainment and service content through radio and television stations, newspapers and internet portals.
The institutional flags are a tradition of the RBS Group and one of its most important social investment initiatives. With no profit or commercial objectives of any kind, they are major social mobilization campaigns with editorial actions (with reports in the Group’s vehicles), advertising (with campaigns in all media) and institutional (with mobilization actions with public authorities and communities), which encompass the company’s entire multimedia platform, as well as its employees.
Banrisul began its history in 1928 with the mission of promoting the economic and social development of the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
It is a medium-sized bank, operating regionally and focused on retail, which offers its millions of individual and corporate customers a broad portfolio of products and services through the largest service network in southern Brazil.
