TozziniFreire advised BTG Pactual Serviços Financeiros DTVM S.A., as fund manager and underwriter, and BTG Pactual Gestora de Recursos Ltda., as portfolio manager, in the formation and initial public offering (IPO) of BTG Pactual Investimentos de Impacto Fundo de Investimento em Participações – Multiestratégia, a BTG Pactual impact private equity fund and one of the largest impact private equity funds in Brazil.
The work of the firm included the creation of specific mechanisms regarding investment policy, impact measurement, impact disclosure to investors, new risk factors, among others.
The Fund is a BTG Pactual impact private equity fund, and represents a trademarked product of BTG Pactual’s new ESG unit.
The Fund’s IPO was worth R$1 billion, and the Fund successfully raised approximately R$542 million in its first closing.
The Fund represents another great and purposeful effort by TozziniFreire’s valued ESG Group, with partners Alexei Bonamin (pictured left), Gustavo Rabello (pictured right) and associates Felipe Paiva and Daiane Nunes.
