TozziniFreire advises Cordcell on sale to CryoHoldco
TozziniFreire Advogados has counselled Cordcell on the sale of 100% of capital to CryHoldco
TozziniFreire assisted CordCell in the process of selling 100% of its capital to CryoHoldco, a Mexico-based company controlled by ACON Latin America Opportunities Fund IV. The deal value was BRL 25.50 million.
CordCell is the largest stem cell bank in Brazil in units sold. With headquarters in São Paulo and Brasília, the company has a national presence.
The transaction represents CryoHoldco’s entry in Brazil, consolidating itself as an undisputed leader in the healthcare industry and storage of stem cells in the region.
TozziniFreire Advogados team was led by partner Elysangela de Oliveira Rabelo Maurer (pictured), and involved associate Barbara Correa de Queiroz.
Stocche, Forbes, Padis, Filizzola e Clápis Advogados assisted CryoHoldco with a team led by partner Flavio Roberto Penteado Meyer, and which involved associates Carolina Seixas Braga, Lionel Rangel Visconti and Teo Silva Galvão.
