TozziniFreire advises on Unicoba Energia investment

Brazilian law firm TozziniFreire has advised on an investment by Unicoba Indústria, a company that operates in the battery business and whose investors are GEF Capital and Confrapar funds, in Unicoba Energia, which produces LED lamps and develops energy efficiency solutions in LED lighting.

João Busin of TozziniFreireUnicoba is owned by Performa Key Multiestrategy Investment Fund for Innovation in the Environment, and which was advised by TozziniFreire.

The law firm’s team was led by partner João Busin, head of the firm’s private equity and venture capital practice, with associates Veronica Belchior and Victor Frias Françoso.

Law firm Cescon Barrieu acted as counsel to Unicoba Energia.
