TozziniFreire Advogados has announced seven new partners to strengthen the firm’s practice in areas such as ESG, Digital Litigation, Financial Innovation and Tax
TozziniFreire Advogados has announced the promotion of seven professionals to strengthen its strategic practice in areas that are gaining market relevance due to the implementation of ESG practices, the modernization of payment methods, changes in tax and antitrust legislation, and the growing demand for Digital Law.
They are Bruno Rodrigues Teixeira de Lima, in Tax; Clara Pacce Pinto Serva, in Business and Human Rights; Marcus Fonseca, in Financial Innovation (in the top image from left to right); and Camille Goebel Araki, Carolina Matthes Dotto, Luciana Bazan Martins Bisetti and Sofia Gavião Kilmar, in Litigation (in bottom image from left to right).
All the new partners were already part of the firm’s staff as senior lawyers.

Bruno Rodrigues Teixeira de Lima: Graduated in Law from the Law School of the Catholic University of Brasília and in Accounting Sciences from the UNB (University of Brasília), he is specialized in Tax Law from the Catholic University of Brasília and holds a Master’s degree in Accounting Sciences from the University of Brasília. With over 13 years of experience in administrative and judicial litigation, Bruno has followed important discussions on tax matters at the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals and at the Higher Courts based in Brasília. Bruno has also worked in the elaboration of strategies for the conduction of cases in these collegiate courts, related to clients of various economic activities, performing oral arguments and hearings with the judges.
Clara Pacce Pinto Serva: She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the Law School of PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) with research in Self-Compositive Methods in Human Rights Conflicts. Clara is a certified private mediator, attended Advocacy training at AdvocacyHub, and is an alumni of the WYSE global change training program. Recognized among the most admired lawyers in Brazil (Ranking Análise Advocacia Mulher) in 2021, she is a co-leader of the Social Impact Thematic Chamber of CEBDS (Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development).
Camille Goebel Araki: She graduated from the Law School of PUCRS (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul) and has a post-graduate degree in Corporate Law from Complexo Jurídico Damásio de Jesus. Camille also has an MBA in Insurance Law from ENS (National School of Insurance).
Carolina Matthes Dotto: Graduated from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, holds an LL.M. in Civil and Commercial Law from the University of Cologne (Germany) and an LL.M. in Public Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Member of the Strategic Litigation team and of the German Desk, she has extensive experience in litigation involving administrative, antitrust, and corporate law. She worked as a foreign lawyer at the German law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft, in Cologne, from September to December 2013.
Luciana Bazan Martins Bisetti: Graduated in Law from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo), she is a specialist in Consumer Law from the Law School of Coimbra/Portugal and post-graduate student in Consumer Law from Escola Paulista da Magistratura of São Paulo. She has experience in strategic cases of various natures, with special expertise in matters pertaining to highly complex consumer relations, civil liability and class actions.
Marcus Fonseca: Graduated from the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, holds a postgraduate degree in Business Law from FGV Direito SP (São Paulo Law School) and a master’s degree in Business Law from the same institution. He has extensive expertise in consulting on various issues related to financial services, payment methods, instant payments, PIX, fintechs, blockchain, crypto-activities, crowdfunding, Open Banking and regulatory sandbox. He worked at the New York law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. He received the Rising Stars Award, presented by IFLR (International Financial Law Review), and was one of three Latin American lawyers recognized in the category for his work on major transactions in the areas of Finance and Corporate Law in 2018.
Sofia Gavião Kilmar: Graduate of the Law School of USP (Universidade de São Paulo), she holds a master’s degree and, currently, is taking a PhD program in Commercial Law at the same institution. Sofia was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany, and has taken several postgraduate programs in Law and Technology, including in Civil Procedure, at FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas), at ITS Rio (Institute of Technology and Society), and at Harvard Law School. In 2020, she was listed by Fundação Getulio Vargas as a benchmarking researcher in the technology field. Sofia is a member of the Digital Law and Competition Commissions at IBRAC. Additionally, she has broad experience in Tech Litigation, having assisted some of the most relevant tech companies in matters related to the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet and the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Her work comprises all strategic litigation, from civil investigations and public civil actions to leading cases at different national courts.
