TozziniFreire assists Unidas on debentures issuance

TozziniFreire Advogados has advised Brazilian fleet rental company Unidas on its 14th issuance, in a single series, of simple and nonconvertible debentures, unsecured, with additional fidejussory guarantee, for public offering with restricted placement efforts, pursuant to Instruction No. 476 of the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission.

Kenneth Ferreira of Tozzini FreireThe issuance in the Brazilian market raised a total amount of 200 million reais ($47.5 million) and was granted by Locamérica. Banco Bradesco BBI acted as lead underwriter.

Unidas is the market leader in fleet rentals in Brazil, with over 80 used car outlets, and the second largest car rental company in the country, with more than 230 rental points and an exceeding 110,000 vehicles at the service of their clients.
