TozziniFreire has a new partner for life sciences and healthcare
TozziniFreire has announced the promotion of Victor Hugo Avallone (pictured) to partner in the life sciences and healthcare practice area.
Victor, who has been a member of the firm’s team for 6 years, has almost 15 years’ experience in health law, ANVISA, ANS and MAPA laws and regulations, clinical trials, medical ethics, contracts, administrative proceedings and mergers and acquisitions in the health sector. He is also an active member of the firm’s multidisciplinary Pharmaceutical Industry group. In his professional career, he has also worked as a secondee in companies subject to health legislation or in highly regulated environments.
Victor holds a PhD and an M.Sc. in International Trade Law from the University of São Paulo Law School, with research in the area of global trade in medicines. He graduated from the Mackenzie Presbyterian University Law School and is also a specialist in Health Law from the University of São Paulo Public Health School and in Business Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation. He is currently a member of the Health Committee of the France-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCFB) and is the author of several publications in the area of Law and Health.
