TozziniFreire instructed on Amsted-Maxion stake sale.

Iochpe-Maxion instructed TozziniFreire Advogados on the sale of a 20% stake in Amsted-Maxion to Greenbrier do Brasil. 

The deal, worth $10 million, also gives Greenbrier do Brasil an option to acquire up to 40% of shares in Amsted-Maxion. 

Iochpe-Maxion is a Brazilian automotive wheels and structural components manufacturer which also produces railway equipment. Amsted-Maxion is a 50-50 joint venture between Iochpe-Maxion and Amsted Rail Brasil to produce freight cars, railway wheels and castings as well as industrial castings.

Partner Maria Elisa Gualandi Verri led the TozziniFreire team advising Iochpe-Maxion and Amsted-Maxion.
