TozziniFreire instructed on Kirin sale

TozziniFreire advised Brasil Kirin on the sale of its bottling plant in the state State of Rio de Janeiro to Ambev. 

Brasil Kirin is the second largest Brazilian brewery and beverage company, after AmBev. Since 2011, the company is a subsidiary of Japanese company Kirin. According to a statement, the company is currently optimizing the size of its operations in South America and adjusting the costs of the business structure.

The value of the deal was not initially disclosed. Media reports placed the value of the transaction at $149 million.
