Trench Rossi Watanabe represents Profarma in divestment transaction of the specialty drugs segment
The law firm Trench Rossi Watanabe acted in the total sale of the shares of Profarma Specialty to Viveo, thus terminating its operations in the segment of specialty drugs that it maintained in Brazil through a joint venture with a company of the AmerisourceBergen group, a world leader in specialty drugs that operates with integrated solutions in distribution, specialty pharmacy and patient support, for Viveo.
The transaction was led by partner and leader of the Corporate & Finance area Daniel Facó (pictured), who highlights the excellent performance of the team, ensuring another successful transaction. “We participated in yet another important movement in the pharmaceutical products segment. As of this transaction, Profarma’s activities will prioritize the commercialization of pharmaceutical and health and beauty products through its wholesale channel and retail sales conducted by its subsidiary d1000,” he comments.
The work was also conducted with the leadership and coordination of Marcelo Martins Moura and the support of attorney Bruno Silva.
