Two firms act on Actis’s acquisition of EDP Transmissão Litoral Sul
Madrona Advogados represented EDP Trading Comercialização e Serviços de Energia, a subsidiary of EDP – Energias do Brasil, on the sale of its entire interest in EDP Transmissão Litoral Sul, the owner of the EDP Transmissão Litoral Sul transmission line (Lot Q), located in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, with a total length of 135 kilometers, to Eden Empreendimentos e Participações, a company managed by the Actis fund, which was advised by Mattos Filho.
The transaction worth BRL 510 million and is subject, as of the closing date, to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary conditions precedent for a transaction of this nature.
